SUMMER CAMP FOR HIGH SCHOOL & KIDS
In all our filmmaking camps, each student writes, produces, directs, and edits his or her own films. In addition, they each assist other members of the crew in the roles of director of photography and assistant camera person, providing all with extensive set experience. The acting and animation camps are just as intensive and thorough.
Each summer, hundreds of teens and kids from all over the world are taught filmmaking and acting at the New York Film Academy summer camp programs. Our one of a kind, hands-on film and acting camps are designed to teach youth the fundamentals of movie making and acting in film.

AND ALL WHO HAVE A PASSION FOR FILM
Yet, some of the best films to come out of the New York Film Academy have been made by students who have no connections to the film industry. They have included sons and daughters of farmers, teachers, merchants, civil servants, doctors, lawyers, clergy, and people from all occupations reflecting the breadth and scope of diversity that make up the world. Our graduates are working at all levels in the film industry and their films have been screened at all the major film festivals in the world and have won many awards.
